FELISA Company Ltd. promotes the concept of 'Farming for Energy': growing energy crops and processing them to biofuels.

The world's growing need for (re)new(able) energy sources ensures a market for biofuels and a bright future for biofuel producers. Besides, local energy crop farmers will take advantage of this evolution: increasing employment opportunities and fair energy crop prices will improve their living standard.

FELISA brings the 'Farming for Energy' concept into practice in Kigoma in Western Tanzania:

  • We cultivate energy crops at our farm;
  • We process energy crops to biofuel at our factory.

Moreover, we stimulate the region's development by supporting the local farmers through our outgrowers program.
