The 'Farming for Energy' concept

FELISA believes that 'Farming for Energy' can be a solution for poverty alleviation in Africa. Growing energy crops and processing them to biofuels gives a solution to the world's growing need for (re)new(able) energy sources. This ensures a market for biofuels and a bright future for biofuel producers. Besides, local energy crop farmers will take advantage of this evolution: increasing employment opportunities and fair energy crop prices will improve their living standard.
